Integrated Quality, Safety and Environmental Management System Policy
At Nexus Geographics we have the vision that maps are a key tool to understand and improve the activity of people and organizations. Our mission is to help companies and public administrations to better understand their business, with geolocation technology, with maps and intelligent routes, also providing internal control mechanisms that allow us to provide the greatest information security to our processes:
- To meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
- To keep the training of workers up to date to be able to carry out the tasks entrusted to them, and to inform all staff about the operation of the integrated management system and the objectives set.
- To promote the continuous improvement of the services and the integrated management system.
- Involve staff in quality activities and the pursuit of continuous improvement, and with a commitment to protecting the environment, including pollution prevention.
- Involve staff in safe behaviour, ensuring the security of their own information and that of stakeholders to ensure:
- Its confidentiality, ensuring that only those who are authorized can access the information.
- Its integrity, ensuring that the information and its processing methods are accurate and complete, avoiding unauthorized modifications and its availability, ensuring that authorized users have access to the information and its associated assets when they require it.
- To achieve these objectives, the following fundamental principles are established:
- Cyber hygiene: apply basic measures to all the company's assets that guarantee a minimum level of security.
- Awareness: being aware of information security risks, as well as knowing and applying the necessary practices to protect information.
- Security Risk Management: carry out an adequate assessment, management and treatment of information security risk to achieve an acceptable level of risk, prioritising the measures and controls to be implemented in accordance with the risks identified and the business objectives pursued.
- Security by design: incorporating information security as an essential element in the design and development of products, solutions and services.
- Security Incident Management: act appropriately and jointly to prevent, detect and respond to incidents that may affect information security.
- Comply with legal requirements, as well as other requirements that the organization subscribes to.
All of us at Nexus Geographics (employees, collaborators, third parties) are responsible for understanding and complying with these principles. At the same time, within our area of responsibility we must provide the necessary resources and promote their compliance.
By developing these actions, Nexus Geographics is committed to the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the integrated management system.
In addition, to ensure that this comprehensive quality, safety and environmental policy is complied with, objectives consistent with this policy are defined and the system is periodically reviewed to ensure its effectiveness.
